"Neruite." - Said Lucas - "They can hear from Haru's eye, right?"
Neruite nodded.
"Yes. What will you do, Lucas?"
"I need an arena that will allow them to make a showing, Neruite. Do you trust me?" - Asked Lucas, simply.
"If I didn't, you wouldn't be my chosen one, Lucas." - Said Neruite - "And yes, there are places with enough uncertainty even on Earth."
"Good. Here's what I'll do..."
The Hospital
Haru still held Zara's hand when Lucas stepped once again from one of those rifts. Lucas' expression was quite calm, but both Haru and Zara paused.
"Hello, Haru. I need to borrow you for a moment. I was told the Enemy would hear me through your eye. Is it okay if I say some things?"
Haru nodded.
"I... Okay..." - She said as she removed the eyepatch, feeling sick to her stomach as her eye moved on her own. She sat on the bed so that her third eye would get a good look at Lucas.
"Good." - Said Lucas. She then looked at the Eye, smiling.
"Why, hello, there." - Said Lucas to the eye, smiling - "You guys likely remember me. Both you, Enemy and you, Julian. I was, after all, the one that destroyed your little pet time-eating abomination. And that sent you those gifts, remember? The dictionary, the pics of me giving you guys the finger? And in your case, Julian, well, you remember me well enough that you went right on and made a deal with the devil to try and copycat me, innit?"
Haru's third eye glared. Lucas went on.
"Now. Surely you are after the elements, innit? Well, I've got one. Or, rather, I AM one. One or the other. Water, Boo-boo. You want power, Boo-boo? Come and get it, doggie! Well, then again, I shouldn't call you doggie, it's not fair. I mean, a nine-year-old did make you her bitch, Julian, so bitch it is. And as for you, Enemy? Molon labe, muttha fucka. Come and get it. You surely want to wreak revenge on me, as well."
Lucas smirked, as if remembering a very funny moment.
"Oh, the trick with the Time Devourer should have worked, innit? Well, yeah, there I went, throwing a wrench riiiiiight into your plans. Best laid plans of mice and men... And of Boo-boos and Enemies, too, it seems. So, both you, Boo-boo, and the Enemy, I'm teleporting to this nice patch of land, two hundred kilometers east of Karakorum, smack dab in the middle of nowhere. Not really well-known, not really traveled. You should be able to show up. I'm the prize. For you, Julian and you, Enemy to get your revenge and a boatload of power. Ta-ta!"
With that, Lucas smiled.
"Thanks, Haru. You are very strong and I apologize for this."
Haru nodded.
"It's... okay."
Lucas handed Haru a Polaroid picture of a deserted area. Haru figured it was where Lucas would be after basically taunting the Enemy and this Julian guy himself. Lucas proceeded to open a rift and leave.
