Jon woke suddenly when he heard a piercing woman's scream coming from the bathroom. There was a glow of sunlight starting to come through his curtains. He sat up in his crib and noticed his diaper was a bit wet. He squeezed the front of it gently and could feel that it wasn't completely soaked so he could put up with it for a while. He remembered the progress he had made in staying dry for a good part of yesterday and he was determined to do the same today. He started repeating a mantra in his head, trying to psych himself up. "I will not use this diaper. I will use the toilet. I am a grown boy," he thought over and over. He started to speak the mantra out loud to really drive it home. "No pee diaper. Pee in potty. Big girl." He stopped himself, shocked at the squeaky words he heard coming out of his mouth. He started to speak slowly to get the words in head out his mouth. He thought to himself, "I will not use this diaper," but when he opened his mouth he found himself again saying, "No pee diaper." He tried a few more times, growing more and more frustrated with each attempt. He tried to say, "How is this possible?" but all that he actually spoke was the word "How" followed by some baby babble that didn't make any sense. He hadn't even used real words. By now Jon was so annoyed with himself but rather than finding himself getting angry or even thinking about it rationally he simply found himself starting to cry, which quickly turned into loud sobs.
The only thing that calmed him down was when he saw Biff enter the room. He looked slightly different but Jon couldn't put his finger on it. He didn't notice the smooth crotch in Biff's panties but he did notice that Biff seemed to have developed an even more graceful way of moving. He seemed to glide into the room, hips rocking back and forth as he quickly made his way over to Jon.
Jon tried to talk to Biff between sobs but the best he could do was to say, "Mommy. Mommy. No pee diaper. Big girl." He couldn't even seem to call Biff anything other than Mommy now. Biff was having a hard time understanding Jon now, between the loud sobs and the broken words he was saying. Given the early hour and the traumatic changes Biff had just discovered he didn't have the energy to deal with it right now. He simply scooped Jon up and carried him into his bed. Hoping a bit of early morning snuggling might give him a chance to get a bit more sleep.
