Jon suddenly stopped hearing his parents bickering when the stone glowed. The silence was then broken by the sound of both his parents screaming, which he can only assume means that the wish had worked. Both he and his sister scrambled out of their respective rooms and downstairs where they were met with a strange sight to say the least. There was only one body in the middle of the living room, and as it turned around, Jon saw both his mom and dad's heads were attached to it. The right half of their body was their mother’s, and the left half of their body was their father’s.
"What just happened to us?!" His dad asked as he started to check their newly fused body.
"How should I know?!" His mom asked as she did the same. The two of them awkwardly checked every spot there would have been a seam in their bodies, but they found nothing.
They looked inward at each other and shouted, "We're stuck together!?!" before trying to push each other's heads off the body.
Meanwhile, Zoe looked at them with annoyance. "Yeah. What else is new?" She said. Their parents stopped pushing on one another and looked at her.
"Y-yeah. You've always been stuck together like that." Jon added, playing along.
"We... We have?!" Jon's mother asked.
"As far as we've known..." Zoe said with annoyance. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I left my friend on a call..."
"A-and I was watching something in my room..." Jon lied to get out.
"W-wait! Hold on!" Jon's dad tried to say as he took a step forward. Their body twisted awkwardly as they suddenly had to rely on his mom's balance before he got his foot back down.
"Don't just suddenly move like that!" His mom shouted.
"Well don't shout in my ear!" His dad argued. Zoe and Jon went back upstairs and left them to their bickering with one another, but Jon was still interested in what was happening. He slipped into his room and grabbed the wishing stone.
"Well... I guess that means my dad wasn't cheating on her..." He says with some relief. "Now all they have to do is make up and they'll be separated..." He says as he thinks. The two of them were just fighting and now they're suddenly sharing a body. "I should probably help them along the way until they figure that out... I wish all their clothes were tailored for their conjoined body, they both worked at my dad's job (his mother was currently a housewife), and everything else non-living they owned was appropriately combined and merged for their conjoined life until they were separated." The stone glowed and energy burst out as the whole world was changed from the wish...
