Hawkins patted Lucas on the shoulder. "You know Lucas, I feel successful today not only because we preventing life as we know it from ceasing to exist, but also because from our combined efforts we've just managed to something that I've been frequently told is impossible. Thankfully this means we can be of a larger help to 'The Numbers.'"
Lucas grinned. "Hey yeah! We kicked that thing's ass, and not a single kid in sight!"
Hawkins sipped his drink with a sly expression on his mask. "I must admit, I also get some satisfaction from successfully foiling you."
"What?!" Lucas asked.
Hawkins gestured towards the vast expanse of the Moon. "You did say that you'd never reveal your secret to accessing the moon. didn't you. Well unfortunately for your secret I had a lovely conversation with miss Selene. Quite a charming woman.
