I have looked into the problem mentioned (although the code is written by Zach, so he will have to clue us in to the actual cause of what happened).
For some reason, the episode itself did not get written to the disk properly. That is, there is no episode on the server, thus the lookup fails. I am going to remove the links to it in order to avoid confusion.
