"And... fail." - Sighed Lucas upon hearing Neruite describe the current situation with Mrs. Violet.
"This is a hard situation, Lucas..." - Said Selene/Neruite, gently.
"Yeah, yeah... It's just... It's not fair, y'know..." - Said Lucas. She then paused. - "What does this woman do for a living?"
"I think she works in civil service." - Said Neruite.
"Oh. Too bad..." - Said Lucas - "I mean... We do know one guy that can work as a sort of psychologist..."
"Is it just me or do you tend to focus on zany plans to try and solve problems, Lucas?" - Said Neruite - "It'd be sorta hard to get a Department of Transportation worker to go do her job in Maxwell's grove..."
"Then again..." - Said Lucas, smiling - "I don't really need to come up with an explanation, do I? I can..."
"Artemis is still involved in the situation with Jenny and Lilly, Lucas. You would risk the three of them if you tried doing this." - Said Neruite.
"So... What to do? I mean, we can't just let this happen. You yourself know that you're Artemis's mother, but not Harriet's. Insofar as there is a distinction, you can see it" - Said Lucas - "Letting this happen would make Harriet suffer, it would not help Artemis at all either. And Violet would hate you for it... I mean... Look, we gotta do something here. You're a goddess, I'm fighting fate itself to save someone, and yet we can't try to reach a consensus between two people or to explain to a woman that her daughter is not nuts? I'm sorry, but why is that so? Why must we simply watch the situation degenerate?"
Neruite sighed. She knew Lucas wouldn't let it go, and she knew that her protegé, did have a point. Moreover, she also knew Lucas would refuse to accept that anyways.
"I will see what I can do. And you can try and think of something as well. Okay? We'll figure out a way."
