Satisfied that they had at least come to an understanding, once they had tidied up from dinner Sarah suggested they watch a bit of TV before bed. Without even thinking about it Sarah got herself a beer from the fridge and poured a glass of wine. She joined Jon in the sitting room and they both sat at either end of the couch. Sarah handed Jon the wine which he thanked her for.
They channel surfed for a while before settling on a sitcom they both enjoyed. Both were getting more comfortable in each others company and were chatting away like friends. At one point Jon got up to go to the bathroom and Sarah asked him to grab her another beer on the way back.
Jon made his way to the bathroom. He dropped his shorts and sat on the toilet to pee. It felt completely normal to him and he wiped himself afterwards before heading back to the sitting room via the kitchen to grab a beer for Sarah. Jon handed her the beer and sat back down on the couch, this time much closer to Sarah, with their legs touching.
As they chatted and watched another show Sarah's hand seemed to find itself naturally resting on Jon's leg, which he didn't seem to mind. She rubbed his smooth leg, not in a sexual way, just in a loving way. Jon adjusted himself on the couch so that his head was angled towards Sarah's shoulder which he soon rested it on. Sarah's arm left Jon's leg and soon was wrapped around his shoulder and she kept up the rubbing motion, this time rubbing his back and side.
"Mmmm, that feels nice," Jon whispered to her and looking up, they locked eyes and Sarah leaned down for a kiss.
The show soon ended and Sarah switched off the TV. It had been a long, strange day for both of them and they agreed a good night's sleep was definitely what they both needed. Tomorrow was Sunday, so they were thankful they would have at least another day without any work to try and figure out their new lives and ideally find a way back to their old lives. They made their way up the stairs together, Jon headed for the bathroom to wash up while Sarah headed to the bedroom to get ready for bed.
