You could just make a bunch of new avatars and give me your 200 Gil each time and I'd be rich. Or you could find an enemy and just keep fighting him with new avatars until you got it right. They purposely stopped this by making it so you can make only one avatar per account. It checks your neural signature to make sure! You have to pay an entirely new account fee to make a new avatar, that's the whole $800! That's why I made my character look just like myself!"
I was frozen by her words. The starting screen said you could make a new avatar later, but it didn't say anything about paying $800 again. It would take me forever to come up with that kind of money again! I couldn't believe I ruined my first chance to meet my girlfriend! Damn me for not reading the full instructions!
Suzie saw how flabbergasted I was, and she gave me a hug again. "David, David..." she consoled me. "Don't worry, it's ok. I still love you." She paused. Suzie was such a great girlfriend. "This isn't how I wanted us to meet, but I'm so glad that we get to physically meet finally. I love you so much. And it could have been worse.. you sure are one hot piece of ass now! I don't know which way I like you better!"
