Jay and Lisa arrived at the protest/barbecue grounds, each with a cameraman - a centaur accompanying Lisa and a sort of beautiful ice-sculpture woman following Jay. They could see that the area seemed to be drawing a good amount of people - the majority seemed to have come for the food, of course, not for either political statement.

"Okay. Dibs on the barbecue." - Jay smirked.

Lisa giggled. "No fair, you always get to interview the nice guys."

Jay smiled. "Well, I'm faster. Now. Remember not to think of either side as 'nice guys'... No matter how obvious."

Lisa rolled her eyes. "Yeah, yeah. I know, Jay, I've interviewed rapists before..."

Jay shrugged. "Just sayin'." - then she looked a bit further away. "Huh. Looks like Toby's finally met her match."

Lisa looked at the area Jay was looking at, and whistled. The area had a diameter of about 20 feet and was animated - anime-rendered, specifically. - "You wanna interview her, don't you?"

"Yep. She seems to be entering the barbecue area, so my dibs apply."

Lisa smirked. "Go ahead. For me, let's see who bigot #1 will be..." - She looked around for any figure that looked like a leader in that group, and saw a man she knew. That would be Pastor Edward Duke. She remembered interviewing him when he made some statements about fairly basic women's rights and how they shouldn't exist. Putting on her best "professional" face, she walked up to him...

Jay walked up to the anime woman, who looked at him.

"Ah, the media came out to play too?"

"Yes." - Said Jay as she entered the aura and became animated, now looking like a veritable kitsune, and her icy companion gained some odd anime-transparent effects. - "We were looking to interview people about this..."

"Well, I'm not a leader of this movement per se, but I can introduce you to some people, at least. The demon priestess they are protesting against, the angel girl that saved her... I think the priestess may know the leader of the devil-changed too, I'm not sure..."

"It would be interesting to interview them, yes, but we want to begin with the common people." - Said Jay - "It's why I'd like to interview you first, if that's okay."

Cass blushed. "Oh." - "Uhm... I wasn't expecting that, but sure..."

Jay smirked. "Relax. We do more than one take if we need to. Now. What's your full name and profession?" - Cass told her. - "Are you ready?" - Cass nodded. "Okay, Mike, start us off." - Jay said and began the interview.

"How did you get to know about these events?"

"I found out about it on social media. I wanted to support a community of people who are fighting against bigotry." - She said.

"I see. You think the protesters are driven by bigotry, then?"

"The Purifiers are klansmen by another name. Okay? That's what they are, plain and simple. Down to wearing hoods and trying to hang people from nooses." - Cass said. - "So, yeah. They are driven by bigotry. I have no doubt these people had other targets before the Sun changed. African-Americans, homosexuals, Latinos. You name it. They are klansmen by any other name, and they should be treated as such. I would not do business in any store that employed them." - Cass smiled inwardly at that last line. She knew that a good way to empty a movement was by the wallets - especially in this economy.

Jay smiled inwardly as well. Cass was getting a bit agitated, but her looks and overall style worked well with that. She didn't need to, and indeed shouldn't, do a screed against the protestors, but she certainly did not mind her interviewee doing one - especially one that was quite eloquent.

"I see. And what do you think of the reaction of the devil-changed and angel-changed that came to help?" - Said Jay.

"As constructive as possible, given the circumstances." - Cass said - "They are showing their culture in peace for everyone to see, and lots of people are coming. The food is great, the drinks are great. They shouldn't have to sponsor this kind of event, but I'm glad they did. It shows how different they are from those bigots that are out there protesting against the right of the demon-changed to exist."

"Right. Thank you, Ms. Wilkins."

"You're welcome." - With that, the icy camerawoman turned off her camera and Jay smiled. "See? You didn't even need other takes. Now, about the other people you mentioned..."

Cass smiled. "Lucas and Robert, right. Robert or Rachel will likely know who is the leader of the demon-changed, at least. I'll take you to their table."

Jay followed her.
