Well, I suppose you could augment the one you posted by saying in the next episode that the "power" had moved from Emily to Ashley. Then I suppose it wouldn't technically be a continuity error. I don't think I said that the "power" has to remain with just one person. I suppose it could move from one person to another. I also suppose it could spread so that multiple people could have it, but I think that might make the story too complicated. I think it's better just to have the "power" being used by one person at a time.
Almost any continuity error can be fixed with another episode. It's just that in this case, I thought it'd be easier if I just rewrote your episode with the correct continuity.
