I had a lot of damage control to do, not to mention figuring out what exactly had happened in this new reality. Nothing made sense! I was still a gurl, but I was dressed like a boi. I even had the hair! Thankfully, to my discovery, the hair was actually a wig, but it was longer than I wanted and blonde.

We were interrupted by a knock on the door, and Dad poked hys head in.

“Is everything okay? I heard shouting.”

“Yeah, Dad. Everything’s fine... Julianna just nearly knocked something over. Don’t worry about it.” Dad nodded and then turned hys attention to Julianna.

“Are you going to stay over for dinner, Julianna? We’re having lasagna.” Julianna looked at me, obviously wondering if hei should stay. I smiled and nodded. I needed hym around to figure things out.

“Um, yeah, Msr. Carlyle... I will. Thanks.” We waited until Dad had left before we returned to our current problem: the fact that I was dressed like a boi.

“Alright,” I began, grabbing the stone. “Let’s see if we can fix this. I wish that I was wearing gurl clothes.” The now-familiar sensation occurred as the stone granted my wish. I was back to wearing my T-shirt and jeans, and the blonde hair had gone.

“So that works. I wonder why the stone made me wear bois’ clothes then?” Julianna shrugged hys shoulders as I looked at hym. I paused, looking at the stone. “I wish to know what happened with Julianna’s wish.”

After a few moments, the stone granted my wish and new knowledge came into my mind and it wasn’t knowledge that I was happy with. Apparently, the stone had made it so that the reason why I was wearing bois’ clothes was because, thanks to a dare (that I lost), I now had to spend the rest of high school at the bois’ school. What had I been thinking?

“Well?” Julianna asked, tilting hys head. I sighed.

“Apparently, the reason that I’m wearing bois’ clothes is because I lost a bet… and not only that, but I have to attend the bois’ school as well.” Julianna’s eyes lit up.

“Oooh,” hei squealed. “That’ll be how we get to spend more time together. This is going to be so exciting! I can show you how to do makeup, do your hair and…”

I threw my hands up and shook my head. “No way! I’m sorry, Julianna but I’m a gurl. There’s no way that I’m going to be spending my entire time at school dressed as a boi. It’s humiliating. Maybe I can limit the length of the bet. I don’t want to spend a minute longer wearing a dress if I have to.”

Julianna pouted. “But Zane!” hei whined. “Think about it. It’ll be so much fun. Think of all the time that we’ll get to spend together. I bet that we even share some of the same classes.”

I sighed. Was I really thinking of staying dressed as boi for longer? It would be nice to spend more time with Julianna. Maybe they could find a way to ditch class from time to time and have some fun but still...to dress as a boi? How humiliating.

“Alright,” I said, relenting. “I’m still limiting the wish. I don’t want to spend my entire high school career in the bois’ school.” Julianna nodded but gave an excited little cheer and hugged me as I made the wish.

“There,” I declared, putting the stone down. “Now I only have to spend one term as a boi instead of the entire year.” Julianna leaned in and pecked me on the cheek.

“Thanks, babe. You don't know how much this means to me. Thank you for humouring me.” I nodded.

“You better be prepared to pay me back big time after this.”

“Oooh,” Julianna replied playfully as hei twirled hys hair. “I’m sure that I can find some way to pay you back.” Hei licked hys lips as hys eyes shifted down to my vagina. “Did the stone say anything about who the bet was with?” hei asked.

“Yeah, and you’ll never guess who it was.” I paused for a bit of dramatic effect. “Jonatha.”

“Your brotherelle?” Julianna asked, shocked.

“Yeah… Apparently we had some sort of argument about who had it better, bois or gurls. You know how hei is.” Jonatha was quite vocal about hys opinions about bois and gurls, moreso than most bois. In fact, hei was the only one I knew. Every other boi seemed quite content with hys status in society.

“Hei said that I couldn’t handle being a boi and all of the challenges that came with it, including going to a bois’ school... and I guess that in the heat of the moment, I agreed to it.”

“Wow,” Julianna exclaimed. “That’s pretty bold. Even for you Zane. I’ve never heard of a gurl wanting to wear bois’ clothes before.”

“I don’t want to wear boi’s clothes, Julianna,” I replied rather crossly. “It’s just because of your wish that I have to.”

Julianna looked hurt. “I know!” hei retorted. “I know it’s my fault, alright. I know that you don’t want to wear bois’ clothes. No gurl does. I don’t want to wear gurls’ clothes either, but if we’re not careful, the stone might make it so that I have to. At least you were able to limit the effects of the wish...right?”

I sighed. Julianna was right. There was one good thing, and it was that I was able to limit the range of the bet. Hopefully, by the end of the year, everyone will have forgotten all about it.

My phone pinged and I dug it out of my pocket. I had a message from Cherry Marinez. Opening it up, I saw that shi had sent me a picture of what I had been wearing earlier.

Not bad 4 ur first time, Zoanna. I cant wait 2 c what ur wearing tomorrow.

“Zoanna?” I asked out loud as I read the message.

“Ooooh, you have a boi’s name! How cute,” she cooed.

I made a frustrated noise. In my opinion, it wasn’t cute, it was positively humiliating.
