Feeling nervous and a little squeamish, Jon scooted her way over to the nearest tree. With a deep breath she crouched down and waited...
The surprising thing about the experience turned out to be how normal it felt. There was a difference sure, but nothing that Jon couldn't ignore if she wanted to, and she really wanted to.
As she finished up Jon realized another problem, he still had no hands, and he had no toilet paper. He remembered how easy it was supposed to be for girls to get infections down there from not wiping.
Pondering what to do about this new problem, Jon began to wandering in search of possibly usable leaves. After a minute or two Jon began to hear the sound of running water. Deciding that he could at least rinse himself off, Jon headed for the source of the noise.
The forest opened up to a wide and swiftly moving river. Looking around Jon spotted a slow-moving shallow area beside a fallen tree. Jon tentatively waded in, shivering from the chill water. As goosebumps spread across his bare chest Jon realized she still needed to find some clothes. He was a bit concerned that he had gone so long naked without noticing again sooner. She was almost comfortable in the nude.
Jon was just deciding she was clean enough and turning to climb out when something thumped up against her side. Looking down she saw a leather boot drift past her. Curious where it came from she sloshed her way to the fallen tree and peered around it. Straight into the eyes of a dead man.
Startled witless, Jon lurched backwards, right into the swiftly moving current. Before she knew what was happening Jon was submerged in fridged water and being swept downstream at a frightening rate.
Jon flailed and thrashed her wings but quickly realized she had no idea how to swim in this form. The effort and the cold were quickly draining her of her energy. As his struggling slowed another revelation set in; she wasn't sinking.
Sucking in air, Jon breathed a sigh of relief. Of course, she was too light to sink in the water. Tired of struggling against the current, Jon settled in to just riding the river out. It had to slow down eventually...
