Sonja looked Officer Maybourn over with interest. Obviously most newcomers to the pool tried to figure out their situation or escape it, but few had the skills necessary to carry out either. A police officer, on the other hand, might prove a challenge. She wracked her mind, wondering what would be the best approach to dealing with Maybourn.
Before she could decide upon a course of action, however, there was a yellow flash at the other end of the pool. Sonja realized it must have been the Blue Group, having finished phase four and returned to the central hub. While this was a sign of progress, no doubt, how the other members of the first generation, particularly the likes of Officer Maybourn, would react was an entirely different manner.
But that was a concern for later. Sonja, turned her attention to the members of the blue group, who were understandably drawing quite a bit of notice thanks to their new forms...
