It all hit Jon at once. The bedroom and house were different, but it was much more. It was his voice, his body...her body?
There were breasts, her voice was higher, she was shorter, but there was still something between her legs. Cheer trophies and photos—including professional-looking ones of herself—adorned the walls. Painted in a flowy dark blue script on the wall was the name Sapphire. What the?
The new...girl? was just reaching for the stone to get more answers when there was a knock on the door.
“Sapphi? Are you up?” a soft, yet high-pitched voice not too dissimilar to her own, asked as the door opened gently and a head poked through revealing an older looking man? Woman? Jon wasn’t quite sure yet: he still had his equipment down there and yet, he had boobs. The person smiled as Jon quickly stashed the stone under his duvet. “Oh good, you are awake. Jade’s just about done in the shower so you’d better get a move on if you want to beat Diamond. You know how long she takes to get ready.”
Jon...Sapphi blinked and tilted her head. Jade? And Diamond? Wherever she was, it sounded like the new members of her family were all named after jewels or something. That would explain the Sapphire hanging on the wall. Jon supposed that that was her new name now. She looked up and noticed the girl? was still looking at him.
“Um,” Sapphi mumbled, stumbling out of bed. “Yeah, you're right. I’ll be out in a second.” She paused—how was she supposed to address this person? Was she her mom or her dad? Unsure, Sapphi simply muttered a thanks and proceeded to get dressed. The woman nodded and closed the door.
Crossing over to her closet, Sapphi pulled it open and was surprised to see that instead of her usual jeans and T-shirts, it was filled to the brim with dresses, skirts and tops all color coordinated and in different styles. Sapphi groaned. She should have guessed. Sighing in frustration of her situation and under a bit of pressure if she wanted to beat her brother? Sister? To the bathroom, Sapphi spotted a dark blue bathrobe hanging up, decided to grab that and dashed out into the hallway, completely forgetting about her wish for some answers.
Standing in the hallway, Sapphi noticed that not only was her bedroom different but the entire house was as well. Sapphi groaned, not really knowing in which direction the bathroom was. Looking to her right, there was one door next to her on the opposite side of the hall and then some stairs next to her room. The door opposite her had a big green sign on it reading “Jade’s Room”, so that meant that the bathroom was on the other side of his room.
On her left, Sapphi was faced with three doors, two on either side of the hall and one at the end. The one at the end was plain and looked like it might belong to her parents while the one next to her bedroom had a sign on it similar to Jade’s door (and Sapphire’s, if she looked at it) whereas the one next door to Jade’s room was also plain. That must be the bathroom. Sapphi thought with a sigh of relief. To confirm her suspicions, the door to Diamond’s bedroom started to open and Sapphire quickly dashed over to the bathroom narrowly beating a young blonde about her brother Mikey’s age.
“Aw…” Sapphi heard as she shut the door.
