"Um ... hi," Sally said, standing at the edge of the pool, just ten feet away from where Sawyer and Jonell were currently making out. When they made no reaction to Sally's presence, she coughed, and called out to them. "Hello!"
That got their attention. Jonell smiled dumbly at the girl (who was now eight years old, instead of six), while Sawyer swam to the edge of the pool.
"Yeah, kid?" he asked.
These people were a lot nicer. "Do you know where I am?"
"A swimming pool, obviously," Sawyer said.
"But how did I get here?"
"You appeared in the chair? I think that's how we all got here."
"But how did I do that?"
"Listen, kid. I don't have all your answers. Why don't you ask them for help?" he said, pointing in the direction of Naveen and Waldina. "I'm kinda a busy." Then he turned and swam back over to Jonell, who giggled as the two of them embraced once again.
That wasn't really all that helpful.
