"Mom! I'm home!" Jon called out as he got home.
"Hi Jon." His mom called seemingly from the living room. "How was your day?" She asked.
"Fine." Jon replied. "Although people have been..." Jon stopped. Sure enough his mom was in the living room but what shocked Jon was that she had cut her hair.
Normally his mom's hair was shoulder length and brown. However when Jon found her she had cut it short and it looked almost masculine.
"What have you done to your hair?" Jon asked.
"Oh I thought that I could do with a bit of change. The length was getting annoying." His mom explained. "What do you think?" She asked.
"Well, it kind of looks like something a guy would wear." Jon said truthfully.
"Really? I hadn't noticed." His mom said shrugging her shoulders.
Jon was about to say more when he heard the front door open. He poked his head around the corner and saw his sister Zoe coming home and surprisingly Zoe had done a similar thing with her hair.
"What is going on around here?" Jon asked out loud.
"What do you mean son?" His mom asked.
"People have been acting strangely all day." Jon said. "Guys have been dressing nicer, girls have been holding doors open for guys and now I come home to find the two of you have cut your hair."
"So?" His mom said. "I don't see anything wrong with that."
Jon look at Zoe who just shrugged her shoulders before stomping upstairs.
Jon sighed. Something was definitely up. He couldn't be imagining it could he?
