Linda paused...she didn't particularly like the fact that Miss Fine was making sense. It made her feel like...she should apologize to Jon. It wasn't a comfortable feeling.
"I...I'll go and apologise" she said starting to get up. Miss Fine however placed an arm on her shoulder.
"I'm sure Jon will accept your apology over dinner" she said and Linda sat back down.
As Linda sat down Miss Fine took in her appearance. Linda had apparently gone straight to her tablet when she got home and was therefore still dressed in her work clothes. Miss Fine decided to try something.
"Linda, don't you think that you should change clothes? After all you've been in that skirt and blouse all day work. Maybe changing into something more casual and comfortable will cheer you up?" She suggested.
Linda looked down at herself. How could she have forgotten to change her clothes? Now that Jon was taking care of things that was the first thing that she did when she got home.
Maybe she had gotten distracted by the tablet again.
"But Jon said to stay here." Linda said to Miss Fine.
"Don't worry Dear" Miss Fine replied. "I'll tell Jon that it was my idea."
Linda nodded and then went to her bedroom to get changed.
