Meanwhile Jon was currently cooking breakfast. His culinary skills had improved since he had first started cooking so he had decided to give his family a treat. He was making them pancakes.
Linda was the first to appear. She hadn't got dressed yet and was so was still wearing her nightie. She was also carrying her tablet.
"Morning Linda" Jon said happily. Linda just grunted as she sat down.
Jon frowned. "Not at the table please Linda." He said. Linda looked up wondering what he meant then she saw him looking at the tablet.
"Fine" she muttered and placed the tablet on the counter.
Zoe arrived next she seemed bright and happy. "Morning Jon. Smells good" she said sniffing as she sat down.
"Morning Zoe. Sleep well?" Jon asked. Zoe nodded.
"And there's my little angel!" Jon said smiling as turned and spotted Mikey. He opened his arms inviting Mikey who ran up to him and hugged him
"Morning sweetie" Jon said ruffling Mikey's hair a bit.
"Morning Jon" Mikey replied smiling.
"I made you your favourite." Jon said as he released the hug.
"Pancakes?" Mikey asked. Jon nodded. "Yay!" Mikey cheered and then he sat down.
Once the pancakes were done Jon served them up. "Dig in" he told his family as he sat down.
