Karyn and Athena waited outside Miss Fine's office for a while. A couple of students that they recognised but didn't know their names, went in and then came out.
Karyn noted that each of the students looked like something was different about them when they came out. At one time when the door opened Karyn thought she saw Miss Fine spot them so she quickly pushed Athena out of the way.
It was clear they couldn't stay here much longer. They already had missed half of their class and if they got caught out of class it would be detention for both of them.
Miss Fine looked up as she said goodbye to her latest target. She frowned. She could have sworn that there were two students standing outside before they quickly disappeared.
