She smiled. "That's nice of you to say." Miss Fine typed some notes into her tablet.
"Tell me about your children." She asked.
"Well Jon is my eldest." Linda began. "He likes playing video games and he has a best friend named Karyn."
"Zoe is my second child. My husband's death was particularly hard on her. She used to be such a nice girl. Now she dresses all in black and hangs out with those Goth kids at school."
"You don't approve?" Miss Fine asked while making a mental note to pay a visit to Zoe.
"Of course not." Linda said. "She's in a fowl mood all the time and she hardly ever speaks to me. And her friends are a bad influence." Linda leaned in and whispered. "I caught one of her friends smoking you know?"
Miss Fine let out a fake gasp of surprise. Clearly Linda didn't approve of smokers.
Linda nodded. "I know Zoe hasn't started yet but I'm very worried about her."
"Now about your third child?" Miss Fine asked.
"Oh yes Mikey." Linda's face turned into a smile as soon as she mentioned him. She was very proud of her little boy.
"He's 10 years old and he goes to the local elementary school." Linda paused as Miss Fine took some notes.
"He has a few friends and he enjoys reading comic books and playing video games."
Miss Fine nodded. "OK Mrs Gibson. I think I have everything that I need. I will talk to Jon now." Linda nodded as Miss Fine got up and went to find Jon.
