"We don't have time for dating, Zoe," Nadine said. "We're on a mission for the Lord. We have to make these non-believers see the light. Nothing is more important than that."

"No buts, Zoe. Come on. Paul is waiting," Nadine said, walking away.
Zoe looked back around the corner. She wanted to help her friend. But ... the rebellious side of her wanted to pursue Jon. After all, who said she couldn't date and convert people to Christianity at the same time? She certainly didn't want to be alone for the rest of her life.
