The more Tina tried to recall Sarah McMillan, the more she could remember her. It was as if she were coming out of a fog and finally thinking clearly.
Tina wasn't too far off. While inside the "workmen warehouse", memories and minds were sort of in flux. But once someone was brought out of the warehouse and back into "real life", the memories (usually false) would solidify. There might be some odd feelings here or there, like Sarah Madison having a feeling that she and Zoe Shepard had something in common, but other than that, the people believe whatever fake memories had been given to them, as if they were theirs all along.
Turning away from the mirror, Tina explored the room some more. Maybe there was some way of finding out where she was, and maybe she could find another way out.
