The person leaving Jon's house was dressed somewhat similarly to his Goth sister Zoe, but it was definitely not Zoe. In fact, it was the high school principal Simon Davison. It was obviously very odd, seeing the grown man dressed in a black death metal T-shirt, black leather pants, and black leather boots, and sporting a spiked collar around his neck and blue dye in his hair.
"Come on, Jom," Laura said, diverting Jon's attention. "Stop staring at Simon and let's get going. I want to get to school early."
