"Why are you wearing my clothes?" Jon asked the guy.
"Your clothes? Hey, I don't know who you think you are, but you're wearing my clothes."
"My name is Jon. Jon Gibson."
"No, I'm Jon Gibson," the guy said.
"Maybe this has something to do with the stone," Jon said aloud, but mostly to himself.
"Stone? What stone?" the guy asked. He seemed like he really didn't know what Jon was talking about. So it wasn't like his "copycat" had his memories. Just close enough, he supposed.
"Never mind," Jon said. He should keep the existence of the wishing stone to himself. This guy might have thought that he was Jon, but that didn't mean that he should trust him.
"So what's this all about?" the mother asked, breaking in. "Do you know this boy, Jon?" she asked Jon's "copycat".
He shook his head. "I've never seen him before in my life."
"Then what's he doing in our house?" the mother asked.
All three of them turned and looked at Jon, expecting a good explanation as to why he was in their house. What could he possibly tell them?
