Rika put on the necklace and she started to change immediately. Her breast started to shrink and she gained a few inches of height. Her face changed into a more square shape and some stubble grew in. The shorts lengthened and gained a lot more pockets. After a few seconds, Henry was standing in front of Michelle looking confused.
"What's up Henry?"
"Something's not right, " replied Henry padding himself down. Once he was content that was OK, he pulled his shorts and looked into them noting that under his boxers he still had a vagina. His eyes went wide while he said, "That's not supposed to be there anymore."
"What's not?"
"A vagina. Is the necklace running out of charge or something?"
"I don't think it charges, except the bead which looks the same to me. Let me see, " said Michelle holding out her hand. Henry took off the necklace and passed it to Michelle as she changed back to Rika. Michelle put the necklace on. Her hair shortened, her shirt became a thicker flannel. Her breasts disappeared and muscles filled out. Mikey looked down his shorts and saw himself in the same situation as Henry.
"Henry, I'm in the same boat."
"So it's not just me. Why isn't the necklace working?"
"Maybe it's running out of juice like you thought. Or maybe there is another magic at play here. Let me text my brother, maybe he can figure it out." Fortunately he had reception, and send a message out. Now they just had to wait for a reply.
"What do you think we should do?" asked Mikey.
"I'm thinking we should take off the necklace until your brother gets back to us in case it is running out of juice. We should also tell Davis, I'll text him. I hope Jon gets back to us soon."
Mikey took off the necklace, saddened that it did not improve his situation any. Michelle put the necklace away and the two girls got on their bikes and worked their way back to the bike shed. After dropping off the bikes then went back to the cabin to see everyone changing into bathing suits.
"Come with us to the waterfront! We are going for a swim before dinner," invited Rachel. Michelle looked at Rika and shrugged. The two girls joined in the rest of the cabin and enjoyed themselves making sandcastles, kayaking and racing until it was dinnertime with the other 4 people. Everyone went back to the cabin and showered before getting a bite. Dinner was mini-quiches, good ones. Michelle must have had like 3 plates. The last one caused her stomach to cramp a bit. On the walk back to the cabin, Rachel and Katie ran ahead because of a bathroom emergency. Michelle saw that cabin's label changed to apple seed. She looked at the other cabins, and the one next to them on one side was now cabin zero. The one on the left was now blueberry cabin. She pointed this out to Rika. That evening, Michelle's abdomen never settled down and she couldn't get her bra to feel comfortable. She noted that Mrs Sato was going around without a bra now and figured she'd do the same thing. It did help.
One by one the lights the bunk went off until the whole cabin was asleep
