"Something very strange is going on here," Jennifer said.
"Yes, but what do we do about it?" Melissa asked.
"Well ..." Jennifer started, but then she suddenly forgot what she was going to say. She looked confusedly towards her friend, who looked just as confused as she was. "What were we talking about again?" she asked. She had this feeling that something odd was happening, but she couldn't remember exactly what. And after another few seconds, even the feeling of strangeness disappeared.
"I think we were discussing what we're going to be doing next weekend. Saturday is the day of the Sci-Fi Convention at ..."
"Yeah, I'm really looking forward to seeing ..."
"Is Leonard coming?" Melissa asked. She didn't want to admit it, but she kind of had a crush on the overweight nerd.
Jennifer blinked. "Who's Leonard?"
Melissa thought for a moment. "You know, I have no idea. I don't know why I said that."
Meanwhile, Leonard Drullers found himself somewhere else, wearing different clothes.
