"What are you doing?" a voice said from behind him, suspiciously.
Jon spun around and sneered at the person. "What the fuck is it to you?" Then he paused. Why did he say that? Suddenly, all the anger he felt melted away.
"Jeez, I was just asking," the girl said.
To Jon's astonishment, the girl was none other than Sarah McMillan. But ... she didn't look right. She seemed like a Goth version of herself, kind of like Zoe's friend Athena DeVries, who wore a lot of witch-like dresses and corsets. What was going on here? Why was Sarah dressed like that? And how come she wasn't freaking out about it, like Jon thought she would?
"Jon, are you okay?" she asked, sounding concerned.
