"Who are you?" the person demanded. "What are you doing in my house?" It was an Asian woman of about 40 years old, and she spoke with a noticeable accent. Perhaps Japanese? Leonard was sure that he had no idea who she was.
"Your house? I don't know who you are, but this is my house," Leonard said. "Now please leave, or else I'll have to call the police."
"This is ridiculous," the Asian woman said. "You're the intruder. Not me."
Leonard had no idea how this woman could be so confused. This was obviously the house where he and his husband lived. They had lived here for over twenty years.
"It's obvious that you need help," he told the woman. "I think ..."
"What happened to my clothes?" the woman suddenly asked, looking down at herself.
