Lorraine Meadows squealed like a little girl. She had heard that her favorite band was in town, and had even risked skipping school to see if it was true, but she hadn't expected to really them in person, and all at once too!

A voice in the back of Lorraine's mind wondered dimly what a middle aged woman was doing worrying about playing hooky, or why she was mooning over some band she hadn't even heard of before. But she quickly pushed such thoughts from her mind, and rushed up for a closer look. As she looked them over, information on the band and its members came flooding into Lorraine's mind, as she soon became as knowledgable as anyone on the group now known as Tammy Freeman and the Sunshine Band.

First and foremost, of course, was Tammy Freeman, the band's frontwoman and mascot. She was even tinier in person: short, petite, and absolutely adorable. She simply exuded enthusiasm, and was practically skipping down the street, despite wearing platform sandals on her feet. Her featherd blonde hair bounced as she moved, as her breasts, which were modest but just as perky as her personality. Tammy may have come across as a little scatterbrained, but Lorraine knew that her indomitable cheer is what defined the band and held it together.

Then of course was Mandy Eos, the keyboardist. Tammy may have be the band's heart, but loyal fans like Lorraine knew Mandy was the brains. She kept out of the spotlight compared to the other band members, but rumors were she had the most pull of the group. The oldest at twenty six, Mandy had all the curves Tammy lacked. Her caramel colored hair was curled into ringlets and her grey eyes made her striking appearance look aloof and calculating. She wore a cropped jacket over a low cut blouse, with a pair of low pumps and tight white pants which had a rose vine on either side, a look which Lorraine instantly remembered to try to copy when she could.

Then of course there were the sisters, Amy and Trish Benton, who played rhythm and lead guitar, respectively. Amy was the mother hen of the group, the nurturing and perhaps most mature of the five. Few knew Amy's name was actually short for Amber, a bit of trivia Lorraine took pride in. Her dark hair was shorter than her younger sister's, though it still reached her shoulders, and she had a figure which made her look like she could nurture in a literal sense as well as figurative. She wore a button down shirt left open at the top, denim short shorts, and a pair of silver ankle boots which matched the bangles around her wrists and the hoops in here ears.

Trish was the younger of the two sisters, and likely the most scandalous of the group. Her demure personality directly contracted with her tendency to get involved with the exact wrong sort of guys, regular affairs that always seemed to end with Trish's heart being broken in some dramatic manner. She was the youngest of the group at 22, with long hair the same dark color as her older sister. Her outfit today was a spaghetti strapped top, tight skirt, and white leggings, with a pair of flats and a few accessories to complete the outfit.

And finally was Lorraine's favorite member of the band. Nikki Yorokobi played the synth drums for the Sunshine Band, and a lot of people overlooked her or simply put her off as the "asian one." But between her unique personality and appearance, Nikki was by far the most entertaining girl in the band, at least in Lorraine's opinion. Nikki went for the ganguro look, with hair dyed blonde, tanned skin, and light makeup; the trend looked cheesy on most girls, but Lorraine thought it really worked for Nikki. Nikki seemed to embrace and epitomize some of the strangest bits of pop culture from her native Japan, and her enthusiasm nearly rivaled Tammy's, though Nikki was somewhat more eccentric in her pep. Today, for example she was wearing entirely pink leopard print: her blouse, her skirt, her shoes, her nails; she even wore a pair of pink cat ears on a hairband atop her head.

"Ohmigawd, it's really you!" Lorraine said, hopping up and down in excitement. If the band found it strange that a fully adult woman was dressed like a teenager and acting like a little girl at Disneyland, they didn't show it. "I'm really sorry to bother you guys, but I can get your autographs or something?"

"We really have somewhere to be," Mandy said, but both Tammy and Nikki were already all over Lorraine, offering to sign any number of things, take pictures with her, and basically fulfilling their new fangirl's every wish.

"Relax, your little showdown with Death Pew can wait just a few minutes," Amy said to Mandy. "Besides, this sort of thing is good for our image."

"Yeah," Mandy consented, "But they've been doing this all day as it is. We can't just spend all our time doing it."
