Karen decided to watch the first chapter of the DVD but suggested Jon leave the room in case it would have any effect on him. She placed the disc into the player and before Jon left he saw her select the first chapter on the menu. It was titled, "Losing Inhibitions And Becoming Dependent". Karyn asked Jon to come back in 20 minutes and stop the DVD if it had gone on to the second chapter.
Jon decided to go up to the Master Bedroom. The experiment allowed for a grace period for them to settle in but the instructions were clear, Jon would be expected to start dressing the part straight away and he would also be expected to carry out his motherly duties on Karyn as soon as possible.
Entering the bedroom Jon was pleased to see it wasn't overly girly. It contained a large bed, a wardrobe, dressing table with mirror and a chest of drawers. Everything was very neat and tidy and Jon supposed he would have to try to keep it that way. There was a laundry basket in the corner and sitting on top of that was a laundry bag with a zip on it. The instructions said that Jon was supposed to place all his male clothes and personal items in this bag and seal it up. The badge would be taken in the next day or two and would be kept for Jon until the experiment had run it's course.
Exhaling deeply, Jon gave himself a little internal pep talk and decided to just follow the instructions as best her could and just get through this experiment so he could go home and maybe think of a wish to get things back to normal. Determined not to be beaten, Jon quickly stripped off all his clothes, shoes, socks, everything. He gathered everything up and placed them in the bag which he then sealed up slowly. He knew this would be the last time he'd be wearing male clothes for a while and essentially he was no longer Jon Gibson, high school student, he was now Jenny, 21 year old, single mother.
Feeling a little odd to be standing in an unfamiliar room completely naked, Jon tried to come to terms with the fact that this was his room. If he felt odd being naked in here how was he going to feel after getting dressed he wondered.
