"It's complicated. Things are quickly growing worse here," Kendall said. "What's your status?"
"We're still a couple hours out. We're coming in as fast as we can."
"That's good. It'll be good to have family after what just happened, and Tomi's always glad to see the twins," Kendall said, slipping back into his new persona.
"Kendall? Are you alright?"
"Yes, I'm fine, but I'll be better once I see all of you. Alright, I need to head home and talk to my husband now. Love you all, bye," Kendall said, before hanging up. Now by himself again, Kendall's regular mind reasserted himself, but how the brief conversation panned out left him even more troubled than before.
On the other end, Agent Willis frowned down at his phone before turning to his colleague. "Folmer? We have a problem."
