Jon sat at home, still a little rattled from all the intruders. He was in the living room, a little afraid to leave the main part of the house, in case he found more intruders. The first three had been harmless, sure, but the fourth might be someone who could hurt Jon.

Jon rubbed his legs nervously, not noticing how his legs were now completely smooth. Jon's skin was also beginning to darken in tone, though this change went as neglected as the legs.

He hugged his legs, hoping Sarah would arrive soon...

Sarah, meanwhile, had exited the girl's locker room, and made her way into the student parking lot outside. She had visibly aged since receiving the call from Jon, and like Jon her skin was beginning to darken.

She pulled a set of keys from her purse, clicking the unlock button for her car. A minivan chirped in response, causing Sarah a moment of bemusement. Is that really my car? she wondered, but quickly dismissed the confusion as absurd. She had the keys, after all, why wouldn't it be her car?

She climbed in, adjusting the seat an mirrors. Her mind still wasn't entirely clear, but she knew she was needed, and that she needed to get home right away.

Linda, meanwhile, was passing the time tossing rocks at pigeons. She was in a bad mood, but for her it was quickly becoming the norm. She too was beginning to change to match her outfit, the lines on her face fading as her body lost the ravages of age. Her hair was darkening as well, as her lips gained a black coat of gloss while her ears gained several new piercings.

She looked around, trying to find something to pass the time. Finally her eyes rested on a coffee shop, at just across the street and technically on the corner she had told Laura she would be. She set off across the street, brazenly jaywalking and almost causing a mild car accident when a car slammed on its breaks to avoid hitting her.

Laura paid the cars no mind, flicking off the driver when they gave a rather justified honk of their horn. She was walking as naturally in her platform heels as if she were born in them, and her body was beginning to shift to have reason to wear them, shrinking at a surprising rate.
