"Yes, I can see your outfit is strange, but for that you have no one but to blame but yourself," Jon said. Linda was wearing a sleeveless gothic dress, black with purple trim. Three violet belts hooked around her stomach: one just below her bust, one at her waist, and one running over her navel, making a sort of makeshift corset. The skirt of the dress was ripped off halfway down the sides, showing off the fishnet stockings covering Linda's otherwise bare legs. A pair of knee high boots with incredibly high platform heels covered her feet, decorated with buckles shaped like skulls. The skull motif repeated itself in the woman's choker, which clasped a silver skull to her throat. Her arms were clad in fingerless fishnet gloves that reached almost up to Linda's shoulders, showing off her long black nails. Of course, a middle aged mother looked quite out of place in such an outfit, but Jon didn't seem to notice that.

"Hey, fuck you lady, I like my outfit," Linda said. She had forgotten entirely that just a moment ago she herself had been perplexed by her outfit. Jon gave a final remark of indignation, then stepped into his house and slammed the door in his former mother's face.

Now alone, Linda felt herself fall out of character. What just happened? Why was I talking like that? She wondered, but then another part of her seemed to insist she had acted perfectly naturally. She pulled her cell phone out of her boot, checking the time. "Shit, I have a gig to get to," she muttered, though she had no idea what gig she found herself referring too.

Now having forgotten where she was and not yet knowing where she was supposed to be, Linda set off down the street, walking rather well considering her towering footwear.

Jon, meanwhile, had just entered the kitchen of his home, only to find that someone was already in there...
