"I'm your lawyer, of course," Linda said.
"Oh," Jon said, before realizing that was wrong. "Wait, no you're not. Where's Ted Jones?"
"We work at the same firm. Ted was in a car accident, and I'm taking on his clients while he's recovering," Linda explained. "I'm sorry for coming in without your permission, but the door was unlocked and I was worried something happened to you when you didn't answer."
"Oh. I see. Well I appreciate your concern, but I was just out. So you'll be handling the custody case, then?"
Linda nodded. "I've been reviewing the case, and there was a few things I wanted to go over with you..."
