"What's wrong?" Jennifer asked, suddenly becoming concerned.
"I ... I can't remember parts of my life. I know this sounds strange, but I think I have partial amnesia," Jon explained.
"Did you bump your head?" she asked.
"I don't know. I don't think so. But I can't remember a lot anyway, so ..."
"You should go to the nurse's office. Come on, we can go together."
"What about class?"
"I'm sure that considering the circumstances, you'd be better off in the nurse's office. Come on," she said, standing up and holding out her hand.
Jon hesitated, but then took her hand and they both left the room. The class wouldn't start for another fifteen minutes. Maybe they had enough time to get back. Jennifer certainly had enough time.
