"Mommy, can you make those pancakes now? I'm hungry," said the grown woman dressed in the boy's clothes. Athena knew that woman as Mrs. Madison (Linda Madison), but in this weird messed-up situation, she figured that she wasn't anymore. It was almost as if she was acting like a boy and Mikey was acting like a mother. Like they had switched roles, but hadn't noticed.
"I ... uh ... I think I have the wrong house," Athena said, telling Mikey anything just to give a plausible excuse for leaving.
"Well, I hope you find the right one," Mikey said, before closing the door.
Athena stood near the street, thinking of where she should head next.
