"Watch where you're going, you ..." Agatha started to say, but then shut her mouth when she saw who the stranger was. It was, in fact, not a stranger at all. "Zoe?" She could barely get the girl's name out. The person in front of her was Zoe Gibson (a girl who frequently came to the Spiked Pit, and also Jon's former sister), but she looked totally different. She was no longer Goth. In fact, she seemed quite mundane, in Agatha's eyes, wearing a gray T-shirt and blue jeans.
"Do I know you?" Zoe asked.
"What do you mean? Of course you know me." She paused, realizing that Zoe probably didn't recognize her because of how her body had changed. "I know it's hard to believe this, but it's me. Agatha."
"Agatha?"
"Agatha Pierce," she told Zoe, but the girl looked like she didn't know what she was talking about. "Agatha Pierce? The owner of the Spiked Pit?"
Zoe shook her head. "Sorry, I don't know you. And what's a spiked pit?"
Agatha's jaw dropped open. Was she the only one who even remembered the best Goth hangout in town?
