...a little girl. He stared at his reflection and whimpered, clutching the teddy bear he hadn't realised he'd been holding to his chest. With a sniffle, he wiped the tears from his eyes and turned to inspect the room for clues. It looked like the room of a typical four year old girl with pastel colours on the walls and furnishings and a couple of dolls on the walls. The mirror was part of a dresser and he looked at the pictures in girlish frames cluttering it, but they were of him dressed as a little girl with people he didn't recognise. A hunch told him they were his family here, but something was off about them.
With some effort he focused on them and realised that like him, their clothes didn't really match them. Focusing gave him a headache, so with a shake of his head he turned away. Hugging the bear he wondered how he was going to figure out who he was now.
