Impatient about his predicament, Jon grabbed the shirt closest to him and threw it on. Unfortunately for him it was the girl's baby-t shirt with the words "Dirty dirty dirty dirty slut" written on it. Rolling his eyes, he resolved to run to his room to change into some more masculine clothes as soon as he left the room. He worried about what sounded like a party on the other side of the laundry room door, but he would laugh off the shirt if caught, saying it was a dare.
He threw the door open and was met by a wall of sound. Music was playing, people were talking, bursts of laughter spattered into conversation all around him. It seemed that there was a party happening. He recognized kids from his school, popular and unpopular, all having a great time.
When did this happen? he wondered. He didn't have long to dwell, though, as Biff Meadows, the football captain approached him and slapped him on the ass.
"S'up."
Jon giggled. Where did that come from? He looked around, girls were rolling their eyes at him in disgust, but guys seemed to be looking at him with hunger. Biff leaned into Jon, invading his personal space.
"So, want to, you know, like we talked about?" The jock seemed to be implying something that Jon and he had spoken of earlier, but Jon couldn't figure what it was for the life of him. Somehow the thought of whatever Biff was referring to, though, was exciting to Jon.
"Um, you'll have to excuse me for a minute, Biffy, I've got to go freshen up."
Biffy? Jon thought as he wiggled his body in his ill-fitting clothes down the hall toward his bedroom. He hoped that the jock would get the hint and not follow him to his room. All Jon wanted to do was get changed into his regular clothes, although after that he thought he might run back to the party and see if he could discover whatever it was that Biff thought they had planned.
