"Yo, Athena," a voice came from the room. The former Goth girl turned and saw someone moving through the crowd towards her. At first, she had no idea who it was. Or even what gender the person was. The voice sounded too high to be a guy's, but the person looked more male than female. There was even a bulge in the person's pants.
When the person met up with her, he (it had to be a boy, right?) slapped her on the back. "Check this place out. Chicks, babes, and booze. Did I mention chicks?" he asked, with a smile.
"Tiffany, can you beat it?" Sarah asked. "I was trying to have a conversation here."
Tiffany? Athena thought. Isn't that a girl's name? But the more she thought about it, the less that seemed true. At least, for this person. New knowledge entered her mind, the more she focused on it. Tiffany was one of the biggest studs in school and he was on the football team, just like Athena herself. Wait, I play football? she thought.
"Yeah, well, as much as Athena likes to talk to girls, I think she'd rather do something else with them instead. Isn't that right?" he asked, turning towards Athena.
She didn't know what to say. She was so confused.
