It wasn't hard falling back to sleep, especially since Jon was back in his own bed. And throughout the night, everything seemed completely normal. But when his alarm went off, that's when things started to get a little strange.
He turned the alarm off and then yawned, stretched, and got out of bed.
As he walked to his window, to open the blinds to let some light in, there was a knock on his door. He opened it and saw his mother. She had a startled and kind of confused look on her face. "Jon? What are you doing in Mikey's room?"
"Huh?" He looked around. This was most definitely not Mikey's room. It obviously belonged to a teenage guy, which was what Jon was.
His mom poked her head into the room. "Where's Mikey?"
"Isn't he in his bedroom?" Jon asked.
"This is Mikey's bedroom, Jon." She sighed. "I don't know what kind of game you're playing, but you should get back to your room before Mikey catches you in his." She grabbed a hold of his arm and escorted him down to Mikey's room. Then she opened the door and pushed him inside. "I'm sure you wouldn't want Mikey to be in your room." Then she walked to Zoe's door and knocked on it. "Time to get up, Zoe."
Jon looked around the darkened room until he spotted the bed. Mikey was in it and still sound asleep.
