It wasn't hard falling back to sleep, especially since Jon was back in his own bed. And throughout the night, everything seemed completely normal. But when his alarm went off, that's when things started to get a little strange.
He turned the alarm off and then yawned, stretched, and got out of bed.
As he walked to his window, to open the blinds to let some light in, there was a knock on his door. He opened it and saw his mother. She had a startled and kind of confused look on her face. "Jon? What are you doing in Zoe's room?"
"Huh?" He looked around. This was most definitely not Zoe's room. It obviously belonged to a teenage guy, which was what Jon was.
His mom poked her head into the room. "Where's Zoe?"
"Isn't she in her bedroom?" Jon asked.
"This is Zoe's bedroom, Jon." She sighed. "I don't know what kind of game you're playing, but you should get back to your room before Zoe catches you in here." She escorted him down to Zoe's room. Then she opened the door and pushed him inside. "I'm sure you wouldn't want Zoe to be in your room." Then she walked to Mikey's door and knocked on it. "Time to get up, Mikey."
Jon looked around the darkened room until he spotted the bed. Zoe was in it and still sound asleep.
