"Zoe? What the hell is going on?" Jon asked.
She looked confused. "Nothing's going on, honey." Then she paused. "Did you have a bad dream?"
"Why are you sleeping in the same bed with me?" Jon asked.
"Uh ... because we're married?" she said, as though it were obvious.
Jon was shocked. He had no idea what to say.
"Now get up. You don't have a lot of time to get ready for work. And I've got to get the kids up." Zoe pulled the covers off of herself and stood up from the bed. Jon hadn't noticed it before, but Zoe looked different. She was still the same age, but she was no longer Goth. Not even in the slightest. In fact, she seemed very much like a younger version of his mom.
Jon slowly got out of bed to investigate what was happening.
