"Go back home," the farmer said.
"Wait!" Jon yelled. "Where am I?"
"Where are you? Son, this is Meridian County. The town of Lake Point is just up the road a couple-uh miles," the farmer said, pointing west.
Jon looked in that direction, expecting to see the morning sky lit up by the town's lights. But he saw nothing.
"Are you sure?" Jon asked.
"Boy, I've been livin' here most of my life."
Jon sighed. Maybe he was further away than the farmer was saying. He looked down at himself and saw that he was fully dressed. He was in such a daze, when climbing down from the loft, that he hadn't even noticed. He reached into his pocket and was relieved when he felt his cellphone. He took it out of his pocket and dialed his house.
