Remember that Lilly is "scheduled to die" in three weeks. However, Lucas has already done the fate control thing, plus the "final combat" taking place sooner could be explained as a result of Lucas's own actions and/or the time devourer thing. I've been planning the whole "Lucas helps Lilly out" scene for months now. ;)
