“OK first of all, you all need new names!” Sharon shouted
She looked over all 3 before smiling, having made her decision.
“Your new names are Cheerleader Barbie, you’ll be Business Barbie, and you’ll be Princess Barbie.” she said as she pointed at the dolls formerly Karyn, Sarah and Jon.
Jon heard a slight gasp from one of the dolls. It was Cheerleader Barbie. He wanted to yell over to her to be quiet, before realizing why she probably gasped. He couldn’t remember her old name. He thought for a few seconds and realized he couldn’t remember his old name either. He knew he had one, but could only think of himself as Princess Barbie.
“Hmm, I love having 3 dolls, but you don’t really fit with what I currently own.” the little girl said
“It would be great if I had more clothes and doll houses for you. I’d love a castle.” she pouted slightly, continuing.
“I wish this room was filled with Barbie accessories.”
The three dolls were momentarily blinded by a flash of light. When it cleared, they all three gasped as it was now exactly as she had said.
“Ohmigod, ohmigod, ohmigod!” she squealed bouncing up and down, sending ripples through the house that nearly knocked the three over.
“It must be this ring I got for my birthday from my Grandpa! It must be magic!”
PB thought to himself “this must be the new reality, instead of a rock it’s a ring. And instead of him, it went to this girl.”
“Stay in the dollhouse while I go look around” the little girl said as she ran off to look around the room.
After a few seconds PB spoke up.
“What the hell just happened!?” he shouted.
“It must be this new reality. It kinda makes sense that something sold as basically a real toy would have to listen to the girl playing with them. We have to get that ring and change everything back to the way it was!” the former Karyn said
“That’s something I can get behind” the former Sarah said. “Also these names are degrading and embarrassing. If we can’t remember our old ones, let’s at the very least just use initials.” she said
The other two nodded their agreement, before feeling a shaking and freezing up to try and fool the girl.
“OK Barbies, come with me. It’s time to play!” she said as she grabbed the three of them (quite painfully) and brought them over to a giant pink castle.
