While former punk Goth girl Sabrina Johnson eased into her new life as a usually pleasant girl (but turned into a major bitch when she got drunk), Zoe's other former friends had major changes in lifestyles as well.
Zelda Whitefield went to bed the previous night as a cybergoth hacker, then woke up this morning as a fairly normal and ordinary girl, who would never do something so antisocial and deviant as hacking, and definitely would never dress in those freaky clothes she remembered wearing just the previous day - all those neon colors, colored dreads, strange make-up, PVC, vinyl, latex, fishnets, furry legwarmers, and platform industrial boots. It was all so ghastly to her now. So bizarre. She couldn't help but wonder if she was even in her right mind before today. It's like she finally woke up and came back to reality.
The thing she had hated more than anything was people who belittled her, and were weirded out by her cybergoth lifestyle, and looked down on her for her computer hacking abilities. So now, she was just like those people.
Trevor Blake, like the original Zoe, hated conformists more than anything else. So that's the life he woke up to. He found that he loved being like everyone else. But he didn't became part of the popular crowd. He just became whatever was considered "average". Now he was just another face in the crowd. Nondescript. And he preferred that now. He felt content to be just like everyone else.
What did Stephanie Wright hate the most? Well, it probably seemed silly, but she hated the color pink more than anything. One of the biggest reasons she liked being a Goth was the fact that Goths usually wore black. But now, waking up, everything in her room (her furniture, her clothes, her make-up, even her own hair) was pink. She was still Goth, unlike her former friends, but everything was pink. And she loved it! She had no idea why she ever hated it before.
