Jon went back to his room and grabbed the stone, saying "I wish I was ready and dressed for school." The stone glowed, forcing him to look away for a moment, then he was as he wished, wearing a top-of-the-line shirt and pants, and shoes. His hair looked even more perfect than a few minutes ago, if that was possible, and he had a winning smile that would melt any chick's heart. Though he only really cared about one chick in particular right now, and she was on her way over right now.
In his bedroom, Mikey finally woke up, but knew that something was off the moment he opened his eyes. The one thing he hated more than anything was people who didn't like to have fun - party-poopers, as they were called. Well, that's what he was now. He was serious and studious ... and he found that he preferred it this way. No more comic books, cartoons, or any other silliness for this 10-year old. He promised to use his time wisely and for more important things.
Zoe wasn't really getting ready for school. She was spending most of her time trying on all her "new" outfits, giving herself her own little fashion show. Why did she ever think this kind of thing was dumb before?
Linda was in her bedroom, checking her daily planner on her cell phone. Why did she have a bunch of appointments revolving around the Triton Corporation? It was an investment company downtown, one of the more major businesses located in Lake Point. What she was still figuring out was that she was now the CEO of that company. It's where she got all of this extra money to improve her looks and give her kids better stuff, like new HDTV's and new cars, and expensive clothes.
