Jon looked back at the spider alien, seeing that it was close enough to touch. "What are you? How did I get here? What do you want?"
"Cut!" a man's voice yelled out.
Suddenly, the entire room was bathed in light and Jon saw that the wall furthest from him was missing. What was going on?
A man walked towards him. "What do you think you're doing?"
"Huh?"
"Jon, you're completely off script. Do you know how expensive these special effects are? We don't have time for this!"
Suddenly, Jon realized what was happening. He was starring in a movie. One which was apparently about aliens.
The man (who was most likely the director) grunted, then turned around towards everyone else. "Everyone take five. Let's clear our heads here."
"Uh, what about me?" Jon asked.
"Cheryl? Can you get Jon out of these straps?" He grabbed his head. "I need a coffee." And then he walked away.
A woman came over to Jon and unstrapped him. He looked down at the spider alien and saw that it was obviously fake. But in the dimmed light, it looked absolutely real, which was probably the intent.
After walking off the set, Jon saw a poster nearby, advertising the movie:
COMING SOON! INVASION OF THE SPIDER PEOPLE
"Oh man, this has B-movie written all over it," Jon muttered, wondering if it was a straight-to-DVD movie.
