As the coven of witches, Karyn and George all walked along the street to find an easy car to steal, they looked around, noticing how quiet the neighborhood was. It was dead quiet. No one was out. Apparently, they either left town as part of the evacuation or they were holed up in their houses.
But then a sudden noise made all six of them to turn their heads. A pick-up truck with a very loud and obnoxious engine was roaring down the street towards them. As it passed, George recognized the driver.
"Hey! Phil!" he yelled out at the driver.
"You know him?" Karyn asked.
"Yeah, that's Phil Hendricks. He's a guard at the prison."
"Are you sure?" Rachel asked.
"What do you mean?" he asked.
"Well, maybe it's actually someone who switched with him. Describe him. I can see past glamours, remember?"
"Well, he's a little overweight and ..."
"It's not him," Rachel said, interrupting.
"Then who is it?" George asked, watching the pick-up truck still zooming away down the street. It then made a turn onto another street. In fact, that was the street that the Madison house was on, the house that George and Karyn had come from when they went looking for Zoe Madison.
Rachel described the person driving the truck and George had a bad reaction.
"You mean the guy driving that truck is Brick Harrison?!"
"Who's Brick Harrison?" Zoe asked.
"Only one of the most vicious killers in the state." He paused. "I need to go after him."
"But what about the prison?" Karyn asked.
"Just go without me. Scarlet knows the way and her way around once you get there. Catching Brick is very important."
Scarlet shrugged. "Okay, then."
And with that, the witches and Karyn continued to search for a car to steal, and George went after the pick-up truck.
